Ecole
des Ponts Paris Tech, established in 1747, the oldest
Ecole d’ingénieurs in Europe, trains at
high level competences in civil engineering, environment,
transport, urbanism, mechanics, logistics and management..
The Library owns an absolutely
unique heritage documentation asset in the fields of engineering
and construction sciences. Some figures: 80.000 documents
from 15th century to 20th century, including 4.000 manuscripts,
more than 13.000 photos, more than 3.500 drawings by student
engineers (1770-1820), 1500 maps.
